This week’s edition of Classical Guitar Alive features a tribute to the great Paraguayan guitarist-composer Agustin Barrios Mangoré (1885-1944) in honor of the 129th anniversary of his birth on May 5th, and features historical recordings by the composer himself, and interviews with Grammy-winning guitar David Russell, Barrios scholar/biographer Richard Stover, and historic recordings expert Jack Silver, and ends with an excerpt from the forthcoming film Mangoré.
