September 15, 2010 "Ronn McFarlane Interview"
This week’s edition of Classical Guitar Alive! features a Sept. 2010 interview with lutenist Ronn McFarlane, who discusses music composition and his newly-released Dorian Records cd “One Morning.” Also featured on this week’s program are two world premiere concerto recordings: Mexican composer Samuel Zyman’s Guitar Concerto, and Argentine tango composer Maximo Diego Pujol’s Double Concerto for guitar and bandoneon, “Luminosa Buenos Aires.” The program ends with a virtuosic performance of two Giuliani etudes by Lucio Matarazzo.
